In the heart of the Amazon rainforest, Villa Wasi de la poésie is an ecological and artistic place. Only accessible by boat or canoe from Yurimaguas (2 hours from Tarapoto), Villa Wasi is located close to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, considered the jewel of the Peruvian Amazon jungle and one of the greatest sources of biodiversity in the world. Also called "mirror forest" because of the incredible reflection of the sky on the water, the reserve is a true paradise for lovers of nature. It"s located in a region containing one of the largest number of endemic and endangered species.

 Coralie and Wilver work daily for conservation of this wild and precious space together with the local community and welcome you in 4 comfortable houses and an house of 5 rooms. You will be surrounded by many fruit trees, a vegetable garden and a local market ensure the basis of a quality cuisine.


Villa Wasi is also a place of artistic residence and home to environmental activists. Regular workshops and outdoor screening sessions are offered here together with children from the communities living on the banks of the Huallaga River.
